Day 1 of Nauvoo Study Abroad Trip
Today I got to fly on a plane for the first time ever! I did not have a clue what I was doing at the security check point, but they let me on the plane so I guess I did something right. Take off and landing made me a little motion sick but I was okay for the majority of the flight(s). We first landed in Chicago but I did not get off the plane because I did not want to miss my flight to Boston. I was stupid and did not pack any food with me so once we got to Boston after about 4 pm I was starving. It took us forever to find a place on a Friday night that would have enough room for our group of 19 to eat dinner. It also did not help that we were driving around Boston during rush hour. We finally found a sports bar called Home Plate. We got our food a little after 8 o'clock. Their food is amazing! And we got to hear real Boston accents. :) We start our class lectures tomorrow on our bus ride to Plymouth. I'm super excited!... and super tired. |
