Pictures! :)

Here are some more pictures from forever ago :) These pictures were taken about the first/second week we were here in Nauvoo

Sunsets by the temple are amazing :)

The Nauvoo House: one of the buildings the Lord commanded should be built in the Doctrine and Covenants. It was not finished while Joseph was alive. I believe the RLDS tour guide said that Emma's second husband was the one that completed it

The first home the Smith family lived in while in Nauvoo

I think I took this my first Saturday in Nauvoo. This was right after I got out from an Endowment session

Love this guy :)

I got a lot of information from the Lands and Records Office

LDS sacrament before the 4th of July

We went to a Presbyterian Sunday service. I like a lot of the songs in their hymn book

The best dessert I've ever had. Sister Manscill is an angel

We went to a St. Louis Cardinal's game on the 4th of July

The rain delayed the game for over an hour

St. Louis arch! And I'm wearing the free hat they gave everyone at the game

I watched the musical 1776 on the way back from the baseball game on the 4th of July. Brother Manscill had not seen it before and I'm pretty sure I made him a very distracted driver....oops

On this day we volunteered for the Community of Christ. We scrubbed down the monument and gave the roses more water. Dr. Bennett (who is probably in his 70's) trimmed some bushes with a chainsaw and the visitors noticed (I heard one guy say "Look, that senior has a chain saw". We tided up the Smith Family cemetery and it was very satisfying work

Dr. Bennett bought us the famous Red Brick Store root beer. (Picture includes Alex, Marissa and Megan)

Not a very good picture, but there is proof that I went to the Nauvoo Pageant!

Got to weed in front of the Community of Christ visitors center
